Mt. Hollis Lodge

Cinco de Mayo is festive for some, and for this group of families, we’re celebrating the liberation of our basements and attics!  Plenty of parking out back, and lots to choose from — anything from kids toys, to electronics, to clothes, to furniture.  Free to stop by, and all parties involved say “everything must go!”.  Saturday, May 5th 9-1.

What a great half day! We caught up on old times, made new acquaintances, had a great meal, and shared a lot of laughs.

 

Oh yeah, and we got a bunch of things done: Trimmed the front trees and removed the brush, raked and mowed the front lawn, power-washed the stone from the street all the way to the lodge, scraped and painted the ceiling of the foyer, cleaned all of the metal chairs for our dining area, cleaned the balusters on the front stairs, dusted all of the benches, cleaned the wood in the lodge hall, and vacuumed the Tyler area, lodge hall, and Inches (game) room — all in 4 hours. Well done all!

 

Also, special thanks to brethren from Siloam and Perfection Lodges for their help and company.
